Hello rhuner,

Welcome to the Community Forum,

Would you please have alook at this thread Here

As some of us here use ccleaner if you have to have one.

Webroot is compatible with most registry cleaners if not all of them.

Anybody else in the Forum what to add to this?

Best Regards,

Baldrick

Hi rhuner

Welcome to the Community Forums.

If I may add my two pennies worth?  It is not really what Registry Celaner works well with WSA but rtather which Registry Cleaner is the safest to use with ones system...if any can be said to be safe per se.

The best advice that I can give, based on my own experience, is that you approach all of these apps with caution and certainly do not use them unless you have go a back up of your system, i.e., a fresh image made or of your data if you do not have the facility to image your system...or at the very least you create a System Restore point before you use any such app.

In terms of out and out Registry Cleaners, as opposed to general cleaning apps like CCleaner (as the latter clean more than just the Registry) Wise Registry Cleaner has quite a good reputation, as does the Auslogic Registry Cleaner from what I can tell and when I have used them they have caused me no issues.

Having said all that I repeat...please do be careful when using these sorts of apps.

Hope that helps?

Regards, Baldrick

Microsoft's opinion is you should not use registry cleaners. Ignore anyone pointing to articles from 10 years ago, their advice has changed.
