I renewed my subscription, but it still says my subscription is expired.
When I open the program on my laptop, it says I still need to renew through Geek Squad.

May I ask how long ago you renewed your subscription with the Geek Squad? The reason I ask is that it can take 24-48 hours for the renewal to go through (it has to go from the Geek Squad backoffice to that of Webroot which does take time).
If your renewal was today then I would giv it until the same time tomorrow and check again then...and if nothing has come through then in the first instance I would contact The Geek Squad to make sure that everything has progressed at their end to begin with.
