Why doesn't Webroot get rid of Dregol that has infected my computer?

Hello @,

Welcome to the Webroot Community.

Webroot will only remove files that are malicious on your system. Dregol, while an inconvenience, is not an infection.

I would advise taking a look at this article that describes how to remove this types of applications. You can locate that here.

If you are unable to remove this you can certainly contact our support team at 1-866-612-4227 or create a support ticket here.

While I cannot guarantee that we can remove this for you, we would be happy to take a look and see if it meets our detection criteria.

Best Regards,
