I Ran scan and it said I need to buy a security code to clean up a virus on a file. Already entered.

Just joined and ran scan and it said i needed to buy a security code. I just paid 29.99 dollars and entered the code in. What does it need to clean up my file(s)? Please respond.

May I ask where you purchased Webroot from? From Webroot online or from Besttbuy? EDITED: Your keycode is a
20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX.

Welcome to the Community Forums.
 
If I may just add to what Sherry has advised by asking as to exactly what WSA reported as being the infection?  And if you have entered the keycode as described then to start with I would run another scan manually and follow the instructions that WSA will provide you should it indeed detect malware.
 
Generally speaking, if malware has been detected then WSA will look oto remove the relevant files/exe and most likely will quarantine them...but WSA will advise of this and guide you as to what you should do.
