The webroot lock no longer shows when I am on the internet. I must also give permission to webroot each time I boot up my computer to make changes to the hard drive. This is all new to me. Please advise.

+6? this could be 2 different issues.. About the lock... do you see the webroot logo on your toolbar from your browser ( IE , Chrome or Firefox )?If not then i suggest you read ? 's reply in the following topic here
About that popup message asking you to give WRSA permission to make changes to your system that's a known issue the team's working on at the moment. Just click on Yes and let it continue. Your machine will be protected then. If you click no you might not be protected.
