Why do I keep getting a UCA message on start-up asking for permission to run Webroot on hard drive?
My installed Webroot is set to skip the UCA on boot up. There is a context menu entry to allow this, plus two entries in the scheduled menu for the program to update automatically. A permissions message from UCA asks for me to allow Webroot to run on my hard drive. I was using the "Anti-virus" version, but now have upgraded to "Secure Anywhere Complete". My system is Win7 64-bit. The pop-up has only just started to appear after a recent clean up of registry errors and other files using the "system optimiser" tool - built into my Webroot version.
+6? you are getting this message because there's an issue with WRSA at the moment that's being ironed out. When you get that message just click on Yes and your machine will be protected. Keep an eye on the news & announcements about this. All that rests me to say to you now is

Yo edwin, Cheers my man. You defo quick on the gun today. Has this problem only started to show it's ugly head recently? Only asking because the product has been fine for a month now. Then pow-this UCA message pops up on boot everytime like clockwork. Keep it tight.

? This started for me after the 12/16 Windows Microsoft Security updates uploaded to my laptop and the Tech folks have been very nice about helping me while the problem solvers behind the scenes are working on taking care of the bug that has been to blame for this.
Initially when I had a remote session on 12/18 I was told that it was going to be another 36-48 hours until it was taken care of, but I am still in the midst of having issues between my Windows and WSA product regarding my coverages and security, but thanks to the input from the very capable folks here on the board I know that Webroot runs in the background and protects my system and my information is secure, so while they continue to try to eradicate this pesky bug, I'm not in danger.
So... I continue to enjoy the holidays without panicking!

All advice is welcome. I like to think I know enough to get round most situations but it just goes to show that there are many in the Webroot Community who you can always rely on to help out. Everyone have a happy new year:D

As long as WSA is showing Green/all Shields enabled then I believe that yo are well protected, and hopefully the SupportTeam will have a fix for this shortly.
