how do i know if my webroot is up and running - i just tried to install it
I just tried to install my webroot security anywhere - how do i know if it is working?

Welcome to the Webroot Community,
Usually the quickest way to check ikf WSA is active and is protecting your system, is to look at the colour of the WSA notification area icon ('W' in a circle and if all is well then the circle should be GREEN).
f you need more information then just double click on the notification tray icon and that should open the main WSA app panel. If it looks like the below then all is well and you are being protected:
