Does the Malwarebytes download add to what I get from webroot?

Just to add to Sherry's answer, several of us also just use the free version of MBAM from time to time as a second opinion scanner. It was the free version that you were referring to I believe lyrod.

I have to repeat my question- I am not asking whether or not malwarebytes can be run with webroot- I am asking if malwarebytes adds to the security of webroot- another way to look at it- Is webroot not sufficient protection from malware?
 
If so, what else is missing from webroot?

In reality, WSA is all you need but as I mentioned earlier, some of us also gain a little extra peace of mind by occasionally scanning with MBAM. Since this can be done for free and is not a drain on resources, it seems a no-brainer to me.
 
I would also add that MBAM tends to be more aggressive against PUPs/PUAs than WSA and so it may find some that WSA deems acceptable and you may not.
