Questionable file found in Webroot

WRSA.exe is the filename used by Webroot SecureAnywhere, so yes, it should be safe. What ransomware checker are you using? This sounds like a False Positive on the part of the ransomware checker.

It was a file from malware bytes I believe. This really messed up the computer. My outbound email doesn't work. I need to either reinstall this program or get COMPLETELY out of the computer. I can't even run a ping now! This is a disaster

Can you please do a clean reinstall! OK if MBAM removed it go into MBAM and restore from Quarantine and next time come here and ask us before letting mBAM remove anything and in any case any other Anti-Malware tools.
 
Please follow the steps closely!
 

• Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
• KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
• Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
• Uninstall WSA and Reboot
• Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
• Let it finish it's install scan
• Reboot once again

Please let us know if that resolves your issue?

I had downloaded the file but get an error message and it won't work
says has incompatibility with 64 bit windows. So now what do I do?

Did you try to restore the file from MBAM's Quarantine?
 

Would'nt let me as it was fixed for a reboot. It was not the regular MBAM but ransomeware put out by MBAM. I did not have a chice at that time. It seems I do have my email/outlook back now so that's good but I do not have Webroot.

Also WRSA.exe is not Malware or a Rootkit it's the main .exe of Webroot SecureAnywhere!

?If you are using the new Malwarebytes Anti Ransomeware software are you aware that it's a Beta product and doesn't seem to be anywhere near ready for general use yet, I'd be inclined to remove it and wait for it to become more stable before trying it again.

Sheltieuk makes a good point about MBARW (the ransomeware beta from Malwarebytes), and as such it should be used with care. If I recall correctly it was withdrawn from circulation for a little while whilst they tried to sort out the large number of false positives, such as the one you have been suffering from.
 
I would follow Daniel's advice and undertake an uninstall/reinstall of WSA and then, if you absolutely have to use/test MBARW before it is prime time, I would then make sure that you list the key components of WSA under the Exclusions section of the app...that way it should not interfere with WSA going forward.

Glad you got it working well! So how did you fix it may I ask? Also be-careful using other Anti-Malware tools and if you didn't know WSA is very strong at protecting you, please watch these videos to see how it works!

I spoke with a support person and I let him do a silent reinstall install and then clean up all the garbage leftover files. So all is back to working.
