Hello venus17,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

May I ask where you purchased the Webroot CD? Is this the first time you have installed Webroot? Or is this a renewal?

You do not need the CD to install Webroot:  Please follow below if you have not ever installed Webroot before.

Please follow the steps closely!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • KEEP the computer online for install to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE) Let us know if it is the Mac version you need.
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot
Now if this is a  renewal and you have a new keycode then let us know and we can provide the information on how to activate Webroot with your new keycode.

If you have not yet created your Account Console look here on How to Create an Online Webroot Account.

Also if you are having issues and want some help you can always Comtact Support free of charge with an active Webroot subscription:

Support Number: 1-866-612-4227
Support Ticket: https://detail.webrootanywhere.com/servicewelcome.asp

Hope this helps!

Hi venus17

Welcome to the Community Forums.

If I may suggest a slighhtly different approach to that which Sherry has quite correctly suggested? If you have WSA installed you could try re-entering & reactivating your keycode as follows:

and then:

Worth trying incase it can save you an uninstall/reinstall.
