Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

Yes WSA will remove and protect you in realtime from all types of Malware: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malware

See these Video's as the Webroot Cloud is so Massive and always on the look out for new emerging threats and very, very strong and the best IMO see this test on your banking protection: https://www.mrg-effitas.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/MRG-Effitas-Online-Banking-Certification-Q1-2016.pdf

Hi honeybee0649

Welcome to the Community Forums.

WSA will only detect and advise of malware infection if you run a trial version that has expired. During the trial period or if you have an active subscription then WSA will not only detect but also prevent & clean/disinfect malware. Plus with a subscription you get free technical support for WSA and/or malware related issues.

Hope that helps?

Regards, Baldrick

If however you have an active subscription then WSA will not only detect but also prevent & clean/disinfect malware.

Really...?.   During my 14 day trial,... WSA could not prevent & clean/disinfect malware.
Why degrade WSA function during Trial.   Why offer perspective Webrooters a limited function Trial security solution.
Jeez, I had no idea my WSA Trial was not full featured and full function Trial.

@ are you being trollish again? If you have nothing good to say or PROOF then your words mean nothing.

The WSA trial is Full Featured and works as the paid version to the end of the trial period but after the trial ends detection is still there but will not remove anything unless you BUY the product, gees is this something new...................

Yes, I thought so.  That's why I was so surprised to read Baldrick.

Thanks for removing the "Are you on medication." Comment. You know I get an email for every reply and edits to replies? So you can't post a fast one and we will not notice.

I think you just twisted his words or he could of had a bad night nothing more but you like picking on tiny details from Volunteers so that is so wise of you. 😠

And your words Troll or Stupid.   Are your words twisted.   Or, are you.

Quoted not twisted > "WSA will only detect and advice of malware infection is you run the trial version".

So, I asked for clarification and you throw your show off, look at me, give me attention > Troll or Stupid pic.

Yes, I wrote "are you on med", then edited so only you would see.   Not my first rodeo.

bjm_, why do you insist on picking up on nuances/being picky?

I accept that my response was not 100% accurate...no one is perfect (although some...hint, hint...seem to thing they are) but in essence the answer was correct. WSA will detect, notify & eliminate malware...and I think that the OP was basically asking that question...and received the answer.

But making things clear I have adjusted my post to satisfy the overly picky amongst us.

Baldrick

Hi bjm, I see you have been a participant in the Webroot community for almost a year now. I'm not quite at a year yet but Ive been quite pleased with the service and the professional replies I have gotten to my questions. Other than a slight misunderstanding with some wording in a few recent comments, are you as pleased with Webroot as I am ?

Not my words it's the words in the Picture!

Well if you keep up this rodeo then you will not be welcomed here, and you know what comes after that.......
