How do I edit the key code?

I had a previous installation of WebRoot on my PC. That installation has expired so I deleted the WebRoot program using the Control Panel. I renewed WebRoot via Geek Squad and did the install process using the new key code. For some reason the old key code appears and I am unable to edit it to put in the new key code. Can anyone help?

Thank you!

Please use these instructions to change your keycode in the Webroot Program.

1. Open the Webroot program and click the gear icon next to "My Account" at the bottom right of the main window.
2. Enter your key code in the blank on the right side titled "Activate a new keycode” and click "Activate."
3. If a scan starts automatically, allow the scan to complete.
