Problems updating Webroot SecureAnywhere on MacBook

The Webroot icon on my MacBook (running Catalina 10.15.2) tells me that I need to install a software update (currently 9.1.1.66 1381) but when I click the “update now” button, nothing happens. Any ideas?

I’ve tried searching known issues but have yet to find anything that helps.

Hello @dhincks

Yes there are many issues with the Mac client as you can see on the forums and all we can suggest is that you Submit a Support Ticket to see what they can do for you.

Note: When submitting a Support Ticket, Please wait for a response from Support. Putting in another Support Ticket on this problem before Support responses will put your first Support Ticket at the end of the queue and it could take up to 48 hours.

Thanks,

Hello @alecsharan

Try this installer and it’s for Catalina and or Big Sur only! v9.4.1.27

https://mac.webrootmultiplatform.com/production/wsa-mac/10.15/9.4.1.27/WSAMAC.dmg

If it doesn’t work then please contact Webroot Support by Submitting a support Ticket.

Thanks,
