Webroot is now Adobe XI?

Curiouser and curiouser.

When running Leawo DVD Creator, the Webroot console - vanishes! Even its icon on the taskbar has vanished. Going to Start/All Programs/Webroot SecureAnywhere and clicking on the Webroot icon there (and now there's only one) the machine loads ---- Adobe Reader XI ???!!

Leawo DVD Creator doesn't appear to be malware, though its active component (tiger.exe) has had its name stolen and used by a zillion pieces of malware. Still - I can't see how that would have disabled Webroot SA.

Task Manager agrees with me. It says WSA is running just fine - but only under System.

Have checked the shortcut for WSA - and it doesn't point to Adobe anything.  Any idea what's going on?

Hello there!

It sounds like WSA failed to update correctly to the newest version.  Part of the update process is of course to remove the previous version.

What you are seeing with Adobe sounds like Adobe Reader is opening for some strange reason.

Simply reinstall WSA using a fresh download and you should be fixed and ready to go!
