what is the difference between webroot and gotoassist? thank you

As far as I am aware GoToAssist and Webroot are 2 different types of product.
 
GoToAssist is a cloud based toolset for support teams and customer support, which enables remote connection to a clients computers etc and a whole host of other things in the support range.
 
Webroot is a top of the range cloud based Anti-Virus program.
