Why won't Firefox browser open when Webroot is active?

This just started happening.  Whenever I try to launch the Firefox browser while Webroot is active, it won't launch; however, when I close it down, it lauchs immediately.  In addition, there are times when I can restart Webroot after the browser is open.  Has anyone else had this problem.  According to Firefox, they claim Webroot Filtering Extension and Webroot Password Manager could not be verified and were disabled.  Why would that be?  I've used Webroot and Firefox for a very long time, and this problem just started with the update to Firefox Version 42.0.  Could someone help me?
