Google discourages the use of Webroot in its browser.
I'd like to install Webroot in my Google browser but Google discourages this saying it messes up their browser. Is there any truth to this? I don't want every company with a bottom line mentality storing my username and passwords. If Webroot works on the Google browser, how do you install it. I could figure out a way to do it. Thanks for your help!

Welcome to the Security Forums.
I am not quite sure what you mean by "install Webroot in my Google browser" & "Google discourages this saying it messes up their browser."? I am assuming that you are referring to Chrome as the browser here?
Assuming that is the case then I take it that you have installed WSA on your system? If that is the case, and you are using the Complete version then there are TWO extension that you should have (i) Web Fitering Extension & (ii) Password Manager Toolbar. So please check under Chrome Extensions to see if you have (i) installed as this one often causes issues.
If not then you can get it from the Apps Store via this link.
In the case of the Password Manager Toolbar, there used to be a workarpund by recently Google has closed this so next best thing is to download and run the Password Manager Toolbar Fix Tool for PC (if running a Mac then get it from here). Follow the instructions carefully and hopefully this will restore/provide you with the PM Toolbar.
Let us know how you get on and if any of the above does not sort the problem for you then please Open a Support Ticket and let the Support Team see if they can help you (it is a service free to WSA users).
