Why is webroot Secure anywhere not showing any active connections? It was logging active connections
When the connections were being shown...How do I know which connections are good to have or Bad to have

Can you explain what you mean by Webroot not showing any active connections?
TCP and UDP are both connection/communication types. A Local address will be YOUR computer, a Remote address is a router or computer outside of your device.
The active connections will change, a lot. Any time you open a program that communicates with other computers or the internet in any way, that process and the 'ports' that it uses will be listed. As you close the program, the items associated with that program will be dropped from the list until you open it again. There will often be items listed that you might not even expect WOULD be listed there: a lot of things connect to the internet that you would not expect to for reasons of simply getting software updates.
The SecureAnywhere firewall monitors data traffic traveling out of your computer ports. It looks for untrusted processes that try to connect to the Internet and steal your personal information. It works with the Windows firewall, which monitors data traffic coming into your computer. With both the SecureAnywhere and Windows firewall turned on, your data has complete inbound and outbound protection.

When I opened the active connection list there were always a long list of connections ..Now when I open the list is says no active connections and it is blank.

Or you can do a clean reinstall of Webroot as TripleHelix has explained in the thread.
Please follow the steps closely!

- Make sure you have a copy of your Keycode
- KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
- Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
- Uninstall WSA and Reboot
- Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings as you can set it up as you like once it's done
- Let it finish it's install scan
- Reboot once again
