Thanks, Read it.

But no. Windows updat don't seem to have more optional updates.

Is it possible to know what it's talking about in the main log ??

Didn't you block some Win updates, I mean put them in hidden.

No. I always have important and optional updates showing. And alway update as soon as updates arrive.

I'm under Win 8.1 , could it be the problem ??

I don't know as I am on Vista. Other members with Win 8.1 will surely check for you.

Yeah, that wasn't my smartest move :-|  ....

ButI don't think MS changed much its Win Update form Vista, 7, 8 or 8.1 ...

Ok, I will try to rescan again and see if it's not a bug or something.

Thanks for your help

Hello to all,

So here it is - new results from my beloved Webroot :

"An active process (you bet, explorer.exe, ha !) has a possible memory leak + handle leak.

Sounds cool but a bit er ... spooky :D

So what do I do now ? For the most innocents of us, would it be a possibility that WSA should suggest something to do with the results (in a future version) ??

Windows upgrade (win 8.1 version) is still a desert. So, how can I solve that ?

Thanks !

Hi Tabazan

I don't think that you can...as far as I can recall this has been the case from the year dot...and by that I mean I have seen explorer.exe reported as having a memory leak on other tech forums for every version I can remember.

I think that we just have to grin and bear it. :(

Regards
