Happy 12.12.12!

Speaking of "12", 2012 was a huge year for tech! So, without further ado, I present to you the original slideshow/story (courtesy of CNET)

While no antivirus news made the cut, there were four malware/hack/virus stories among the list. In case you don't feel like going through the whole thing, here they are!

  1. "Flashback malware hits Macs" (#61)
  2. "Cyberwarfare gets real"-Stuxnet/Flame (#70)
  3. "Political hackers" (#71)
  4. "Mat Honan" (#86)-I posted about his hacking back in August.
While these four items bring out the not-so-good times for tech in 2012, I'm happy to reiterate that Webroot SecureAnywhere does protect against Flashback and Flame!

Overall, 2012 may have been the biggest year ever in tech. If not, it was surely one of the most exciting! I can't wait to see what 2013 has in store. Until then...
