I justy allow the Adobe Updater to handle the whole thing, making sure that the settings are set to Notify rather than Auto Update...et voila...nice and easy and no need to hunt the manual updater. ;)

It may be worth noting that this update isn't an actual Security update, but rather "...an important bug fix that was affecting a subset of Flash gaming content...", and that there's an additional note in the posting by Adobe staffer Chris Campbell in the Adobe forums (https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2123254?start=0&tstart=0) that will apply to some community members: 'Please note that this release is not available for the ActiveX Flash Player on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10'... April's Patch Tuesday is just around the corner, so users can expect an actual Security update for Flash (@ least) then; those wishing to keep apprised of Adobe's latest releases can typically find information about them here: https://helpx.adobe.com/security.html

I'm a bit late to the party on this one but ?'s post confirms why Secunia PSI still regards 21.0.0.182 as being up-to-date.

I prefer updating with Secunia because it avoids the issues of having to uncheck the PUA's that come with this and other software updates. I always get a clean install and it doesn't bug me to update softs when it is not a security issue.

HiDaniel! I used in Secunia and Belarc Advisor when they first came out ages ago. But for some reason I don't remember why I quit. But you are right we get the latest news here!:D

I already did that TH.  I was merely agreeing that the latest update is not a security issue for me and therefore not one worth doing. It's good to have Petrovic's advance notifications though but I will continue to make use of Secunia PSI for actually downloading my security updates for Flash as it avoids unchecking all those pesky PUAs.

I have to say that I used to use Secunia but gave up with it when it went to its latest version due to the fact that it is sometimes incorrect in determining what one has installed on ones system and what the latest update is for the applcaitons it covers.

Better to handle manually or with the author's own updater IMHO.

Regards, Baldrick
