A Pint of premium Indian Tea and webroot community.

I recieved my.gift mail from webroot today. A pint glass , a pair of stickers, and a screen cleaner.
Well maybe because the pint glass system is not so popular here in India, well the glass is frikkin huge.
And sadly I dont have chilled beer in stock to fill that. All I had in my room was some high quality premium tea. We Indians are mainly tea lovers. So I used my "coffee maker" to brew up a pint of Tea. And sipping it while I am typing this.
I am not much of a forumer and these.gifts even if they are not much as some had already complained in the forum about VIP program, they do mean something warm to me... warm as this Tea. I feel welcome.

Again I would have found the screen cleaner more useful if it did not have a sticky side. I dont want a screen cleaner stuck to my phone's rear always. So I chose it to clean my laptop screen and so I stuck it beside my touchpad - Now it also works as a cozy smooth palm rest. :p

About the stickers, why are they called stickers if they dont have a sticky side? Or am I missing something. I tore one of the stickers assuming the sticker is really sandwitched between two plastic layers.

But I care less about the cleaner and stickers, because I just fell in love with this Pint Glass. Each time I take a sip and place it back, I stare at the VIP logo printed. Though it is a part of your shrewd marketting strategy, it does make me feel good. 😃 though the tea tastes the same.

Thanks for the.gifts, Webroot.
Tea is over and I am clicking "post".

Absolutely Roy, we made a social institution, and virtual religion of what goes into glasses!

What surprise would that be? 🙂

You would get an odd look asking for a beer over here in a glass and not a pint glass (the opposite of say France). Indian Tea`s are nice and Indian food is my favourite. I made a really nice beef madras over the weekend with pilau rice and a garlic naan.

I am from southern state of Kerala and cuisine here is quite different from the Internatinally known Indian cuisine.
Mostly vegetarian and sea food based being a narrow coastal state and seperated from Indian mainland by the Western Ghats moutain range.

The latter is a good site if you are into Indian cuisine, developed and hosted by a friend of mine.

Glad you are enjoying the glass!  We have a whole series of pint glasses with logos for different offices.  I'll have to round up some pictures so you can see them all.

Tea bags kills the flavour. You should try Indian badi patti (big leaf) chotti patti tea (small/tender leaf).
The flavour and aroma it gives.. OC!

For me it is Lifeboat Tea (by George Williamson) a good cup of strong northern brew that donate 7p to the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institute here in the UK) for every pack that is sold...worthy product helping a very worthy cause. :D

Where are you from? It should be available in the nearest Indian store. There must be an Indian store in every major places all around the globe. Ask for Tata premium tea.
