This is my wife. She supported and helped through difficult moments all her life and was around all the time.

I think the comments sum up the reality vs expectation of what everyone really wants in this world.

Only together can we build that expectation and make it a reality

I love my mom so this comment is for her.

I honor the strongest woman I have ever known, my wife. She has held the toughest job in the world, military spouse. I went off to all these places around the world and she took care of everything on her own. She helped others who didn’t know how to do stuff. Now that I’m retired from the military, I try desperately to make up for the years I was gone. In 2 weeks we will celebrate 42 years being married.

100% for gender equality in IT world (and any others).
QubeOS is a great achievement for Joanna and a proof that gender equality is a fact and should be honored as such.

Women in organizations bring a great diversity of opinion and experience to the teams they lead or sit on. We should embrace diversity of viewpoints and methodologies rather than locking into a myopic and toxic “tech bro” culture (or its equivalent in other fields).

So I recently lost my nan and although she wasn't always the easiest person to get on with she was a force to be reckoned with for sure. Passing at the age of 92 she worked everyday well into her late 80s pouring herself into the business she built from the ground up for 50 years. She was the strongest character I know and certainly where I get my strength and ambition from and perhaps a touch of my stubbornness might be borne in there too. Love you Nanna.

I’m grateful to all the women who run Comptia’s UK community.  They work hard for diversity in our (still) male dominated industry and are thoughtful and patient with all the members.  It would be a poor community without their input.

More and more women are joining my organization. Skilled to the brim and with a different approach on how to solve problems, communicate with end-users and lift the spirits. I’ve never understood why women couldn’t be an equal part of our workforce and I’m happy now that such is happening.

My mum has been an inspiration as she has raised me and a disabled daughter on her own working multiple jobs while working her way through the ranks to be in a management role.

Everyone should be allowed to do what they want, when they want, just as long as no-one is getting hurt by it. International People’s Day!
