Chinese Virologists Engineer Hybrid Airborne Flu

Chinese virologists create hundreds of hybrid viruses and five of them can be transmitted between mammals.
 
The study took place in China's high-security National Avian Influenza Reference Laboratory and China is currently experiencing a deadly outbreak of the H7N9 bird flu strain.
 
"They are taking it upon themselves to create human-to-human transmission of very dangerous viruses. It's appalingly irresponsible."
