Super idea @TylerM !

Iโ€™ll be back once Iโ€™ve had my morning coffee and my brainโ€™s in gear!

Wouldnโ€™t mind a Christmas robot that will do the research, buy, wrap and organise the presents, deal with any online shopping and shipping issues and brings it all in under budget and on time. And can go out physically to do it all if necessary.

Based on recent events with my daughter, Iโ€™d like a smart toilet roll holder. It can sense when the toilet roll is getting low and alert the โ€˜userโ€™ to replace it. It will also monitor stock levels and add more toilet rolls to the shopping list.

Iโ€™m fed up with finding an empty toilet roll in the bathroom.

Would be great if IoT could replace the โ€˜Toilet roll fairyโ€ AKA me!

How about an Automated IoT Wardrobe:
A wardrobe that can suggest outfits based on the weather, your schedule, and recent fashion trends. It could also keep track of when you last wore an outfit or suggest when to wash a piece of clothing.

Or how about an update to what we currently have in a limited form:
IoT-Enabled Smart Mirrors: A mirror that not only shows your reflection but also displays your health stats, weather updates, news headlines, and personalised daily schedule. It could also provide health alerts based on the userโ€™s appearance (like skin health). Linking into your Apple watch or health band, means you see everything as you stand there dreading the start of another work day!

Smart glasses that track your movements and provide you with daily reminders for upcoming meetings, doctor appointments, etc. They would have a built-in smart bot that learns your behavior and gives you suggestions for things you struggle with on a regular basis by giving you smart suggestions to answer the question โ€œwhatโ€™s for dinner?โ€ or suggest a show to watch based on your likes and past history. The glasses would need to be activated by face recognition on your smart phone to keep them secure, and would need to be reactivated any time they were removed to maintain a level of security.

A Smart Personal Productivity Cube. Which would include adjustable LED lights that change color temperature throughout the day to mimic natural sunlight which helps and promotes focus during work hours while transitioning to warmer tones for relaxation during breaks.

And it has to be able to handle the paper roll facing outward or inward...

Firstly, consumer IoT needs to be retrofits that work on top of existing manual systems. More easily replaced, upgraded, or removed depending on the occupants need at the time.

That said, I want a device that can go on to my water main line valve into the house, and allow me to turn it on or off remotely or based on a water leak alarm sounding. When traveling a water leak is one of my greater fears. Unless it is an extended trip the water typically stays on for some activities in the house, but it always worries me.

Well the thought of being hacked by a light bulb and getting my bank emptied by my fridge puts me right off using or owning any IOT devices which gives me the idea of having a device which simply plugs in to a power supply, scans for any IOT devices automatically and updates them as and when needed, with of course the option to disable any which are unable to update.

Can we invent a wardrobe that grows and shrinks as needed?

This would be super helpful with kids if their clothes and shoes could just keep growing with them.

Also with adults, as we put on those holiday pounds and take them off with New Yearโ€™s resolutions. My pants are a little tight right now. lol
