Webroot Race Reports

In the first Webroot sponsored race, the Webroot Chevy car started 7th but quickly worked it's way into the lead in the NASCAR Nationwide race at Daytona. Out of the 60 laps, the Webroot car led 41 of them. Being at Daytona, drafting was vital. Unfortunately, that went out the window on the last lap when our drafting help tried a move that, well, didn't quite work out. The Webroot team finished 5th, about 1/10th of a second out of the lead.

We'll get 'em next time!

Wow, hard to believe Team Webroot is up and running already.  Not a bad showing for the first race.

iRacing is going to broadcast live the top split of their Daytona 500 live Saturday 2/22 at 2pm EST. You can go here to watch it. There is a chance that the Webroot car will be in the top split, but that will not be determined until the race sign-in just before 2pm.

Was this yesterday? Today is Saturday, but it's 2/23 rather than 2/22. I hope I didn't miss it, but the channel looks empty.

Been a week or so since I have posted, been very busy!

I did take time out to take the Webroot Nationwide car for a spin at a race at Bristol.

Start: 5th
Finish: 3rd

Could have been a little better but one wrong small adjustment during the last pit stop made the car handle worse.

Making a pass at Bristol.

That is great cohbraz! Thank you for sharing.

We should get a video of one of your races so that we can share it - maybe using CamStudio or another free video recorder.

I think this is so cool, goodluck out there!

Here is a brief iracing in-car view around Bristol. The setup was a little tight but we still got a great finish a few weeks ago.
