I wasn't sure where to put this, but it seems Webroot Support's Twitter account has been hacked. This morning, I received a Direct Message (as I follow them) saying "Hello some person is saying terrible rumors about you..." along with a suspicious link. I've posted a screenshot below.

I immediately changed my Twitter password just to be on the safe side.

Just had the same message.

Thanks for the reminder to change my password.

As much as I like webroot i think you've been sleeping on the job lads.

I've messaged Joe over at Wilders and he informs me it should be fixed ASAP. I do suggest that anyone that was silly enough to click on the link in the Direct Message (as I was) change their Twitter password.

Seeker, thanks for mentioning this.  Fortunately, our security specialists have been on top of this issue since shortly after it occurred.  The problem was confined to only the Twitter account.  There may be more information forthcoming tomorrow, but for right now all I'm personally aware of is that the issue was taken care of shortly after it occurred and that the problem did not extend beyond the Twitter feed.

I'm glad to see this was quickly resolved. Interestingly, the main Webroot Twitter account was not affected.
