I installed SecureAnywhere on my new ASUS Chromebook, it appears to work fine, but is it?

Installed SecureAnywhere on my new ASUS Chromebook a couple of months ago and it seems to work. After reading that it is not compatible with Chromebooks am I kidding myself or worse yet creating vulnerabilities? The only potential issue is that i have noticed movies get choppy sometimes but i have no idea if that is being caused by Webroot. I am thinking I want to delete SecureAnywhere if indeed it is useless on my Chromebook just in case that is causing the slow down, on the other hand as a long time Webroot user with numerous PC and laptops I like the security it brings.

Hi and Welcome to the Community Forum,

Webroot is not compatible with Chrome book sorry to say. An Antivirus isn't necessary for the Chrome book OS.

Hope this helps?
