thx sherry, I'll have to really look this over. I'm not a computer geek/savy person with computers.
Sounds like a lot to do, and I might get things messed up.
I contacted Webroot support in hopes they can assist me on this.
I am running the old VISTA still. Chrome is about ready to stop supporting VISTA.
I tried Windows 10, not too happy at this point, so I am using other ways for internet.
Using also Firefox, a bit confusing as well to do things.
But working on it.
THANKS! again.

Hi keith7747

Welcome to the Community Forums.

If I may..perhaps these instructions (which refer to Chrome but ignore than and for Chrome ready Opera) may be easier to follow:

Navigate to C:ProgramDataWRDataPKG...note that this is a hidden folder and so you will either need to adjust the settings using the Control Panel's Folder Options to view such folders, or you can use the programdataWRData commend in the Search field under the Start Menu and then select the PKG folder from the list provided.

Then, open the Chrome Extensions page in the browser (you should click on the icon with 3 horizontal lines, which you should find in the top right hand corner, select 'More Tools' and then 'Extensions' from the context menus displayed in sequence), and at the top of the Extensions Manager page check Developer Mode to be 'On'.

After that drag the following file from the from the PKG folder to the Extensions page:

lpchrome.crx

(and for the Web Filtering extension you open the 'Chrome' sub folder, and from within that you drag the following file to the Extensions page:

CHROME_1.n.n.nn.crx

Note that there may be a number of Chrome_ files in the folder so always drag 'n drop the one with the highest version no.)

After each drag 'n drop await the message that one is trying to install a new extension to which you should answer 'Install'.

Once both have been installed uncheck the Developer Mode and enjoy...you should have both extensions now working under Chrome.

Not the official way of getting them installed but I hope that helps?

Regards, Baldrick

Sorry, none of that worked.
I got down to Program Files/ WRData , right clicked Properties, it says there are 1 file and 2 folders, but won't let me unhide files, even as Admin.
Not sure if someone at Webroot can log into my system to try it or not.
Thanks anyway.
My chrome will stop running soon, but I still have Firefox (not to crazy about that). Seems I will only use OPERA on my work sites.
Thanks for trying!!!

?I think you might be looking in the wrong place, you need to look in C:/ProgramData/WRData/pkg to find what you are looking for, not Program Files/WRData.

Yea, I looked all over for that folder. The only thing there was, was Program Files/WRData.
I decided to just work it out with Firefox, instead of Opera. Less trouble, and Webroot is working on that browser.
Thanks for your time.
I'm still using the vista as long as I can. I tried Windows 10 with a new computer, but hated the whole view of it and how it worked. Took the computer back after having 3 major problems. Geek Squad helped me out. Great job they did also. Last time they told me to take the computer back because there were issues with the HP......
THANKS!!! for trying to help out!

?Ok, it' looks like you haven't got Hidden Items enabled in Windows Explorer, if you want to look into this further open 'This PC' and the image below will show you what you need to do to show hidden items in Windows Explorer.
