My webroot sign has turned gray with blue icon. What do I do?  Simple language please, I do not know alot about computers.
Hello redclayfoot,

Welcome to the Webroot Communjty,

Are you seeing this issue on a Mac or Windows machine?

Awaiting your resonse...

Hi redclayfoot,

I am signing off here pretty soon so I'll leave you with some information.

You are probably using a Mac PC. Because a  Windows PC has amber or red exclamation marks not blue when there is an issue.

If a Mac please look at the Mac User Guide. http://live.webrootanywhere.com/content/545/Using-the-SecureAnywhere-interface

Blue: means one or more potential risks require your attention.

Check to see if all that all shields are enabled http://live.webrootanywhere.com/content/560/Managing-Shields

A reboot of a Mac might help and then see if its still showing the blue exclamation mark.

I would advise uninstalling and reinstalling Webroot and that should resolve the issue. I can assist you with exact instructions for you if you want.

If you find this challenging then I would advise creating a support ticket or giving the team a call and they can resolve this for you free of charge.

? you mention grey & blue.. Go and check under My account if you can still see the partially visible keycode mentioned there.. If my hunch is right you could be looking at a dissapeared keycode .. Don't worry if that's the case just enter your keycode again and then after a restart & scan things should be ok again.

If this is the case could you tell me what version of SA ( the number ) you are running??
My webroot icon has turned gray with blue exclamation.  what to do

Hello redclayfootm

Sorry to hear you are still having this issue. I did answer this above which is about the same information that I would give with this issue as well.

If you feel capable you could do a uninstall/clean reinstall of Webroot. I can give you exact instructions to do this if you'd like. Have you restatred your compiter and are all  Webroot Shields enabled?

Otherwise I would advise creating a support ticket or giving them team a call and they can resolve this for you free of charge.
