I'm trying to determine a couple of things:
A) what is the current version of Webroot Secure Anywhere (Internet Security)? I'm running 9.0.7.46 right now.
😎 how can I tell what version the database is?
Reason being that for some odd reason Malwarebytes (which I also run on my computer) has for the last couple of days been blocking outbound connections from WRSA to sn.webrootcloudav.com and snu.webrootcloudav.com which I suspect are attempts by webroot to call home and update the database. I'vbe never had problems with the two conflicting before and suddenly I keep getting pop-ups from MWB that a Malicious Website has been blocked relating to the above. I've contacted support over at MWB to zero in on the problem, but figured I'd check on versions of WRSA here.
Thanks.

Hello ?
You are running the current version of Webroot and if memory serves me, it did fix some bugs. Not sure if that would cause your outbound issues, I must leave that up to my fellow senior members. They will reply shortly.

Hi MDYoung
Welcome to the Community Forums.
There is no such thing as 'version of database' or possibly what you are alluding to is 'signatures/definitions', when it comes to WSA as all of this, which for traditional AVs/ISs is downloaded and held on the client syste, is actually held and updated in the Cloud...so to allingtents and purposes WSA is always up to date as those definitions are being contstantly refined and updated by the Webroot Threat Researchers 24/7.
When a scan is initiated on your system WSA gather what it needs in terms of files and/or apps to review/check and uploads the required information to the WIN (Webroot Intelligence Network) or Cloud and undertake the chekcing there.
Please see the diagram below for a better understanding as to how WSA protects you:
In terms of your MBAM issue; WSA will advise if it is unable to connect and therfore cannot upload to the WIN. To make sure that you do not suffer from the issue again I would add the key components of WSA to MBAM so that they are excluded from scan by MBAM.
Hope that helps?
