tried to make initial scan but i received messge noting that internet connection is failed

Have yo tried connecting using a browser and seeing if you can get to a web site such as the Webroot one? If so then can you or is you Intenrnet connectivity really gone?
If it is then you can try uninstalling WSA and then seeing if the connectivity returns.

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!
Are you using a Third Party Firewall? And if so check to make sure it doesn't block WSA from calling out to the Cloud.
