Hi chelseadave

Welcome to the Community Forums.

I am afraid to advise that WSA does not have, and has never had, an anti spam feature. If you are looking for that fucntionality you will either have to switch on what fucntionality your email program has available or downlaod/install a suitable 3rd party app, of which there are a number about.  Having said that a number of ISPs now monitor and try deal with spam at source, i.e., once the email is on their servers and before it is made available to the account holder.

I should just reassure you that whilst WSA does not scan email or the attachments or urls that may come with them, it will instantly respond if the attachment is opened/activated in which case it will scan/examine it and act according to its determination, i.e., good is allowed to proceed, bad is blocked, undetrmined is set to be monitored/journalled.  The same is tru in terms of urls; once clicked on the Identity Protection Shield, etc., kicks in to check and where necessary protect.

Hope that helps but also reassures you?

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Regards, Baldrick
