Is there a way to set up a regular scan schedule to include attached external USB backup drives, like My Book. Also, same question for My Cloud NAS drive?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
I am afraid that I have to advise that it is not currently possible to schedule a scan for anything other than your system drive. You are I am afraid limited to carrying out manual scans (if you need to know how then post back and we can advise on this).
I believe that there is a Feature Request open requesting the addition of this feature.
EDIT: I have just checked and apparently there is not a specific one in relation to this so if so minded please head on over to the Feature Request pages (from the top of any Community web page) and start a request for this feature. The Development Team do review requests regularly and there is also the option for other user to add their support via comments & kudos.
