It's on my computer, now how do I get it to work w/my verizon mail box???
What's the anti-spam program that you purchased?
It's Webroot SecureAnywhere.

It's installed and working very well on Mozilla T Bird mailbox. I don't care for the mailbox and would like to install it on my Verizon.net mailbox.

Oh I thought you were talking about another software. We don't actually do anti-spam, only antivirus, anti-malware, and anti-phishing.

If you're getting spam then you'll need a separate program. Generally most email providers have pretty decent spam filters these days, but maybe Verizon doesn't.
Very true Nic even with Office Outlook 2016 and it's built in Spam Filters I still get spam and my ISP uses Yahoo Mail and it gets pass there Spam Filters so the Spambots are to smart as they get around these filters. All I can suggest is MailWasher and it's free! http://www.mailwasher.net/ and works with ThunderBird email program.

Thanks,

Daniel 😉
Thanks Daniel! I always wondered what program can be used for this! 🙂 I've never looked the Internet for one either though!
I know of it as many users use it and it's clean of PUA's but I don't use it and you know me I like SPAM!

Yes Daniel! It's one of your favorites!!:D
If I might just add my thoughts on this at this point. I have previously used MailWasher for a number of years and whilst it is very good it is a little more arduous to use than other such tools as one effectively has to open it further, view emails on one's ISP's servers, apply it's proposed filtering and then go into one's email client and download what is left to ones system.

Whilst that has some benefits, i.e.e, Spam never actually reaches one's system it is the two tier approach that drove me away from it as it became, as I said before, quite a chore to do this every time one wants to look at emails. I have switched to another solution to replace it.

But it is a safe solution for those who have the patience to use it.

Good to know and Thanks buddy!

Daniel 😉
No worries, Daniel.

It is a good app but just somewhat idiosyncratic in it's operation. One that is very good in the traditional sense, free but can take a little bit of setting up...but when sorted is really good is Spamihilator.
