Hi, I'm new to MacBook and just transfered minimual files from my old PC. I ran a detailed scan and Webroot seems to be stuck 16+ hours so far scanning files "Volumes/Mobilebackups/........."
I don't know what these files are and can't find them using Finder.
Any advice would be appriciated.

Yes, this is the location that OS X stores the time machine backups at.

Hello jandpbutler,

Welcome to the Webroot Communuty,

Please stop your scanning and uncheck "Scan Mounted Drives". This will take days to scan. Here is the Mac PC User Guide

The structure of OS X backups is what causes the scans to take so long.  it basically is rescanning your whole system with each back up.  I recommend that you disable scan mounted drives and your scan time should be much faster.
Sounds to me that these "Volumes/Mobilebackups/..are related to your Time Machine.

That contains your Local Snapshots, and has been there since you started using Time Machine.
(They're actually in a hidden folder named /.MobileBackups, but also appears in /Volumes for convenience.)

?can you confirm Volumes/Mobilebackups/. as the Time Machine?
