My PC does a daily scan and finds nothing. The screen shows a window "Scanning for Malware" and Scanning for rootkits.... It never gets past 0%

Process not scanned

Threats detected 0

Time elapsed 13h 20m

This suggests to me that no scan is taking place. It is always the same problem. My PC is slowing down to the point where I will have to purchase a replacement. In the past I could take the PC to a service shipand theu would clear the MALWARE. I do not have that option now. Is there an ON button somewhere that I need to use?

Any help greatfully appreciated.

Sorry to hear this and would you follow these instructions below?

 

Can you please do a clean reinstall of WSA and Please follow the steps closely!

 


  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example:SA69-AANA-A783-DE78-C584
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again
