Is it necessary to run both Webroot and Windows Defender on my computer? WD is installed. Should it be shut OFF?

Hello @ ,
Welcome to the Community Forum,
SecureAnywhere is compatible with other security software, including Windows Defender. If you would like more information about why Webroot is compatible with other antivirus programs, click here.
If you have Windows 7, you can turn on Windows Defender, if you choose. Or turn it off but Webroot will do the job without WD. So it's your choice. It doesn't hurt to run both.
Kind Regards,
