I recently purchased a webroot secure anywhere disc at bestbuy........I had web root before....and it worked fine but expired.....when I try to up load the new software it takes me to an online webroot page where it wants me to purchase the online version.......but I just bought the disc!!! the disc is good for 3 computers....I installed it on my fathers brand new pc and it worked fine....what gives? how do I just enter the keycode on my computer and update again???

Welcome to the Community Forums.
Whilst they are called the same the Best Buy and the Webroot version (bought anywhere else but Best Buy) are different version...not that you would notice, and therefore use different installers.
You will have to uninstall the current version completely and then install the Best Buy version for you to be able to use it.
I suspect that it installed OK first time on your Father's PC because unlike you he did not have the Webroot version previously installed?
Anyway, try the above and let us know if that resolves your issue.
