Computers are listed as protected when online at your site, but one computer says it was last scanned last year whereas it was scanned just yesterday. Thank you for any info.

I would really not worry too much about that...this sometimes happens and you may also one day get the same device listed more than once if you happen to have uninstalled and then reinstalled WSA on the same device, for some reason or another.
Just make sure that the device in question is really the device that you did the more cent scan on and if you like run a manual scan to see if you can nudge the onlien site to the present.
But as I said...really nothing to worry about...what is more important is when the client on your machine thinks that it last scanned your systm.
