Windows 8 updates and Webroot--Security errors every time...?

Since the last Windows 8 update, I've had some wierd things happening related to Webroot.  First my Google Search Box is gone--replaced with Bing and every single page I try to go to I can't get to.  I get a Webroot page instead stating that there's something suspicious about the page.  Is this related to Windows 8 updates or....?  AND can you tell me how to resolve the problem?
