Windows Defender and Webroot SecureAnywhere are constantly turning off by themselves.

Windows Defender and Webroot SecureAnywhere are constantly turning off by themselves. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it, it happens randomly. Why is this happening, and how can I stop it?

Thanks.

Hello ?

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

EDITED: Are you running Windows 10 by chance?

This is a known issue and Webroot is working on it and it may not be WSA as it could be a Windows 10 issue as some are having this issue and some are not like me and many others. But note that WSA is on and working and still protecting you.

Have a look at this Thread and this one

Please have alittle more patience.

As the Webroot Beta team is now running the fix for Windows Action Center notifications in the Beta version.and the new release is coming very soon. We don't have an estimated time yet for the release. But it's coming.

Hope this helps?

Yes, Windows 10.

Contral panel tells me that WSA is still running. Is is momentarily switching off, then back on?

There will be a new update that will fix this issue very soon. Be sure that WSA is protecting you this is just an Action Center issue.

Thanks,

Daniel 😉
