Using Webroot V9.0.28.48 Windows 10 2004 and Google Chrome latest version.

I have noticed if I click on  access web console or Get customer support from the webroot

interface nothing happens, the webpage no longer opens. If I shut down webroot and restart without restarting my pc it works. Also if I change the  windows default browser to another all works fine.

Anyone else able to replicate this issue?

Hello @stevecosta

All is fine here. When you say Chrome latest version is it the Release version or future test builds? https://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel if it’s the one of the future builds it might need whitelisting in the Webroot Cloud Database? Save a Scan log and look for any u] files that point to Chrome if there are any then Submit to support to get them whitelisted. Also where is Chrome installed on your system it should be in this Directory:

If it’s under AppData then you need to make sure it goes in the right place see here: https://blog.kevinpayravi.com/2015/07/31/installing-chrome-within-the-program-files-folder/

HTH,

Thanks, managed to resolve by reinstalling Webroot. For some reason it must have installed incorrectly there was no WRData in %PROGRAMDATA%.. Thanks for your help

Hi Steve,

Did you install the Beta?

Thanks,

Unable to install Beta yet can not add Beta key to Web Console  it says Error (UAKC010): This keycode has already been registered. Have sent a private message to Freydrew

Very odd! Hopefully Drew will get you sorted ASAP!
