Updating Key Code on Android phone and tablet

I have WEBROOT Internet Security Complete on my pc and WEBROOT Mobile Security on my android phone and tablet.  I just got a new keycode today (my subscription actually expired yesterday) and was able to update on my pc.  Despite searching I cannot see how to do it on the android products.  The app on both the tablet and phone says I’m protected but there isn’t any way that I can see to get to my account to update the keycode.  Do I have to uninstall and reinstall the app on those products?

Hello @Auntyb

Yes uninstall and reinstall from Google Play it is an odd way or contact Webroot support and see what they say because this is the first time I seen this asked and I can’t find how to change the Keycode on my Android Phone?

Webroot Support:

Submit a ticket 24/7/365 it’s the best way!

Call 1-866-612-4227  during the week Mon - Fri 7 AM to 5:30 PM (MST)

Also phone numbers from around the world: https://www.webroot.com/us/en/about/contact-us

Note: When submitting a Support Ticket, Please wait for a response from Support. Putting in another Support Ticket on this problem before Support responses will put your first Support Ticket at the end of the queue.

Thanks,

Thank you!  I uninstalled the Mobil app and reinstalled.  Since I already had an account I logged in.  The problem then became the app automatically found my old code and would not proceed.  I called support and they removed the old key code and advised that I create a new account with my old logon info.  This worked.  So apparently every year uninstalling, reinstalling and creating a new account on the Mobil app is the way to go !

Sorry to hear, you can renew every year but it’s more expensive I think and you wouldn’t need to change the keycode or make a new account. https://www.webroot.com/us/en/home/renewal
