Hello @Coaster

By the sounds of it, it’s best to Contact Webroot Support so they can look at your scans logs and they will help you sort it out.

I got attacked while searching for something, and pop-ups starting coming up in the Notifications on Windows 10.

I found this https://www.computips.org/remove-captchacheckout-top/ and followed the instructions to block the pop-ups in Chrome. That worked. But there were also instructions for removing the malware, but I could not complete them because I could not find the offending file. I ran a Webroot scan, but it did not find anything.

So I am looking for more information, and also alerting Webroot that there may be an issue that they need to look at.

For me Webroot’s Web Threat Shield blocks that site!

Also from Webroot’s BrightCloud and you can check any sites you like! https://www.brightcloud.com/tools/url-ip-lookup.php
