Webroot uninstall running after I restart my PC

To add to what Baldrick said, 
 
If you still see that behavior after the reinstall, do not worry too much.  I am not positive, but as I recall there is a set of WSA instructions as a part of the boot to check for any updates, as well as any updates to the browser extensions.  I do not think that is what you are seeing here, but it is possible.
 
Baldrick, do you recall exactly what items are being checked for upon boot for update(s)?

Hi David, again you make an excellent point (and wow, what a memory ;)).  I do not recall but will try to do some research on that.

As for that comment on the memory @ that is only on a good day LOL!

I reinstalled webroot with the URL you provided and everything went fine but when I restart my PC it still ocasionally runs the wruninstall.exe and sometimes the green webroot box doens't appear in the bottom right corner. I highly doubt I have a virus because besides those 2 things everything runs just fine.

The wruninstall often runs automatically at bootup, it is simply checking to verify certain parts are fully up to date.  (Offhand  think it is the web filter extensions that it is workng with here, but I am not positive.)
 
Anyway it is normal and not a worry.
 
As for the green Webroot at the lower right corner that is easy to fix.  Clic the 'more arrow' down there, and select "customize".  On the customization screen, locate Webroot and click select box.  Set it to "Show icon and notifications".  That will force it to show at all times.

Many thanks for stopping by to update us.  Glad to hear that things are just about OK.  In terms of the "...sometimes the green webroot box doens't appear in the bottom right corner" issue, which incidentally I see occasionally, what I find the best thing to do is to start WSA from the desktop icon, then click on Advanced Settings (top right hand corner of the main panel) and under the Install Settings tab (which is the default one to open) I uncheck the 'Show a system tray icon' option, and then click Save (entering the CAPTCHA code requested) and immediately after that I then CHECK the same option and press save again (no CAPTCHA required this time) and close WSA...and for some reason I do not know or can comprehend...the system tray icon work as per normal again...until the next time.
 
Give the above a try and hopefully that will sort you out re. the tray icon disappearing...until it happens again.
