I belong to a web site that uses my cam and microphone. Will Webroot SecureAnytime block this?

Hello ?

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

I don't believe Webroot will block your camera or microphone unless an unauthorized source is trying to access them.

You can check to see if Webroot is blocking programs by doing the following:

Please open Webroot SecureAnywhere, click gear next to Identity Protection, click Application Protection, see if any of the programs in the list are being blocked (if they are, see if they are associated with your cam/mic and set them to Allow).

You can also check your firewall settings:

Open SecureAnywhere, click gear next to PC Security, click View Active Connections, check list to see if processes associated with camera/mic are being blocked.

Hope this helps,

BD

p.s  If you are having trouble using your camera or mic online try checking your Adobe Flash Player settings manager.
