LPPlugin.dll Error Message

Software has been running great. Within the last week, I have been getting a Webroot critical error message popup stating Failed to Find Required File then the location C:/ProgramData/WRData/pkg/LPPlugin.dll.

I have searched the internet and the webroot boards but have not found a solution.

I am running Windows 7 Pro.

Anybody have an idea of what is going on and how to fix it?

The software has 5 licenses and this same error is appearing on another computer at my house also.

Thank you!

Brian

Looks like that toolbar fix did the trick. Works great now.

Not sure what caused the issue as I have not installed any new software or made any significant changes.

Thank you so much for the quick help!

Hi Brian,

You're welcome. Glad to hear you got the issue resolved. Thanks for letting us know.
Webroot pushes periodic, automatic updates to the Password Manager. Perhaps an update didn't quite "take" so to speak, and that caused the problem with the LPPlugin.dll. In any case I'm glad to hear the problem has been resolved.

Have a Great Holiday Season,
