Mac Catalina "Failed to get latest version"

I tried all the links and re-downloaded the install .DMG several times and still not working on a Macbook Pro fresh install.  This was the first app I placed on this new Mac and still it says "Failed to get latest version".

I am connected to the internet.  Here are the specs:

MacOS 10.15.6

MBP 15 - 2018
