I have been a satisfied Webroot user since 2014.
I renewed my subscription last year for another 3 years.
But now every time I turn on my pc I get a popup:
“Your New Keycode Has Been Activated”
WHY??
WHAT IS GOING ON?
How do I stop the popups?
Is there a phone # for customer service?
My old keycode from 2014 still shows when I bring up my desktop console.
I have been unable to reach customer service.
I did finally finally google “webroot customer support phone number”, but the number is for a scammer who told me the popup was evidence my router had been compromised and I should install UltraViewer on my PC so he could remote in and clean things up. (I hung up.)
